The Distinct Differences Between Spare Tire Sizes
If you get a flat tire, it is usually replaced with a spare tire, also known as a "donut." Although the donut is safe to use while driving, it is only temporary and intended for allowing you to get to a service center and have the tire changed.

A donut is much lighter in weight as opposed to a full-size spare tire. It also gives you the added convenience by saving space in the vehicle due to its smaller size; however, it should only be used between 50 to 70 miles before it is replaced.
